Is this odd?

Might sound daft but thought I'd ask. My gf has been wearing tights every day (not the same pair lol) for the last month.

She wore them with a skirt to work a month ago and quickly got changed as she had to go back out and just took her skirt off and stuck cropped trousers on over the tights. She loved the look and found it comfortable now it's a constant thing. There's even been some times where she's had full length jeans on with tights under them.

It's not thick tights, just thin tan or barely black ones.

Am I alone in thinking this strange???

man i love the feeling of tights under trousers its so nice, also it keeps you that little bit warmer. not everyone does it everyday but its a harmless habit, and nobody really cares let her do her thing its probably a phase she'll grow out of

i’ve personally never tried it under trousers, might try that once or maybe with shorts or something, usually it’s skirts and dresses

yeah i did it after school when i took my uniform off but couldn't be bothered to take my tights off

Saves the bother of shaving legs

i don’t think it is to be honest, seems quite normal to me. maybe it’s just you?

if you have a problem with her doing it i’d advise that you mention it to her if you can

I don't have a problem with it all, to be honest I think it's quite a good look. She used to mess about with fake tan on her legs but the tan tights means she doesn't need to lol.

Only problem is when the waistband shows between her top and her trousers when she bends down or sits lol

as another user said it might just to stop the bother of shaving legs, a lot of people just can’t be arsed and this might allow her to wear clothes like ripped jeans without bothering

True, as I said before she also liked the look of it the first time she done it.

Must be a comfort thing too with her wearing with full length jeans as well and yesterday she went to work with a white nearly cropped top and barely black tights under normal black trousers

Lol remember to wear a top that overlaps your trousers by quite a bit though. As I said before her tights waistband shows a lot of the time because the tops she tends to wear only overlap by an inch or so when standing normally.

Funny last weekend we were at my parents for a family bbq. The gf kicked her shoes off and lay stretched out on a lounger and there was a good couple of inches of her tan tights showing in the gap between her black cropped trousers and white tshirt lol

oh the ones i wear dont really have specialised bands on them, i just get those multipack ones from generic supermarkets lol

Lol, it's just the basic multipack ones she gets from Asda too. 15 denier with reinforced toe as I was instructed one time I was out getting things lol.

They do have a wee waistband of about an inch deep though and a seam that runs up the middle at the back and front to it at the pants part if you know what I mean lol

they have no seam i don’t think lol

Don't think she's ever worn the thicker ones, not in the 2 years I've been with her. Would probably be a bit much under jeans and trousers lol
