Law EPQ Ideas

I really want to do my EPQ on a legal topic/issue, but am struggling to think of a great idea.
I don't do psychology or sociology, and am not interested in doing these in the future (I am keen to pursue law), but I don't know whether this is crossing the line a bit?:
To what extent should polygraph (lie detector) results be recognised as evidence in UK courts?
What are your opinions on this?

as long as it doesnt overlap with your academic subjects and curriculum it sounds great just make sure you have enough research, information and data to support your project
