If you prefer the location and the course yes. The added flexibility and breadth of study can be really great if you’re interested in a broad range of subjects. Plus you will grow more as a person by living somewhere where you aren’t the majority. If it doesn’t work out then you can transfer back to yr 1 in a rUK university without extending your time at university.

No you have that wrong. Yes Scottish unis are an extra year long but students from England are charged for 3 years. Thus:

3 x £9250 = 27750
27750/4 = 6938 per year.
