So I got a 2:2 in biomedical science. I really flipped my exams this year as I was unmotivated due to personal reasons and didn’t realise the severe impact doing poorly in the exams would have on my degree classification so please refrain from judgement. I have always really wanted to study medicine, if I did a masters degree and really put my head done and worked my hardest and got a 2:1 or 1:1, would I still be able to get into a medical school in the UK or abroad? I am currently 21 and was going to sit the UKCAT and GAMSAT this year but following my 2:2 I am going to study masters instead. Do I have a chance of getting in or is it the Bachelors degree that is solely focused on? I have worked in a variety of care setting for the past 3 years and am going to start Care shifts in the hospital soon as a Band 2 carer.
