Hi @Ahmett17

Great to hear you are coming to the UK to continue your education, I’m sure that just like many of us here (myself included) you will have a great time and learn a lot!

The first thing you might want to think about is what subject you want your degree to be in. Cranfield has many courses in the financial area, such as the Accounting and Finance MSc, the Finance MSc, also MBA courses, the Sustainable and Digital Banking (Retail) MSc, and of course many others which have financial aspects. Some people also use your MSc to refocus their career path, and may choose to move into the management side of a business though a management qualification. Knowing what area you want to focus on will give you a better indication of the qualifications needed to enrol in that course.

At Cranfield, each course has an indication of the qualifications often needed to obtain a place. For example, on the Finance MSc page (linked below) you will see a blue button on the right side of the page that triggers an ‘entry requirements’ pop-up. This states that “Usually candidates must hold either a first or a 2.1 UK honours degree in a relevant discipline, or an international qualification of a standard equivalent to a First or 2.1 UK honours degree”.

This gives you an idea of what might be expected of you to gain a place. However, there are so many other important factors. Many candidates have experience working in the sector, or in another sector where similar ideas and skills are relevant. Some people have outstanding extracurriculars, such as involvement in charity work or student associations to build up skills and knowledge that will help you in your career. These get taken into account during your application process.
What is a more ‘fixed’ requirement is an English-language test- but there are many options for this. You can find the info in the link about, in the ‘entry requirements’ pop-up, just below where it speaks about academic qualifications.

You can discuss all of these things with the admissions team through the link here:
https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/som/forms/enquiry-form-full-time
Since this is an open forum, I wouldn’t recommend sharing all of the personal details that go into an application online! Additionally, I am a student myself so I am sure the admissions team will be able to better advise you on what is needed for a strong application.
This link is also great for country-specific info (where converting grades from one system to another can be very difficult):
https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/about/international-students/a-to-z-of-countries
You can also speak to current students at Cranfield about their experience of the admissions process, how they chose the best course for them, and even things like the visa experience or finding accommodation after your application has been accepted 😊 I’ll leave a link here for you to find someone to chat with:
https://www.cranfield.ac.uk/ambassador-chat

Best of luck with finding the right course, and with your application!
If you need any more information, just let me know and I will do my best to help out 😊
