Confused in choosing the right combination for A2 in maths

Greetings, my subjects are sciences and a Maths. and I recently finished my AS. Now its time for me to choose the maths component correctly. My main idea is that if I won't be able to clear the MDCAT test, then I'm gonna switch my field and gonna start my studies for CA. So, which combination would be better for me?
Like either "P3 and S2" or "P3 and M1"
Also, in AS I gave P1 and S1
Need suggestions:smile:

Although I am not remotely familiar with MDCAT, from what I can tell, you would be covering quite a bit of M1 topics:

In terms of CA, I am not entirely sure about the entire syllabus for chartered accountacy in Pakistan (this is the correct country for you right?), but according to the syllabus, you are more or less looking at S2's topics: https://icap.org.pk/students/study-resources/
Personally, I think you should have covered enough material in S1 without needing to do S2 in order to the quantiative methods module in the CA qualification.

I don't know which exam board you are with, but see the following:

In short, I would go with M1 as opposed to going with S2, but this is up to you. It would also depend on what grades you would need in order to do the tests or qualifications. If you are stronger with statistics than mechanics for example, then do statistics if the grades are important.

Do note, the material covered in International A Level Maths alone would not be sufficient to do all the maths you need in the MDCAT or CA; you would need to do more, but it usually won't be such a real stretch that you can't manage.
