University of Warwick vs Bath for mechanical engineering
Hi, I am looking for suggestions on choosing between university of Warwick and Bath for mechanical engineering. I am keen on factors like employment opportunities and student life. Any help on this?
Bath probably has the slightly stronger name for engineering, however when it comes to job prospects they will be near identical. Warwick benefits from being in the heart of the UK automotive industry (JLR/AML/Lotus/many suppliers...) and Bath is close to Bristol a hub for UK aerospace.
In terms of life there will be differences however, Warwick is a campus kind of in its own place nearby to Coventry & Leamington Spa and Bath is in Bath. Travel/cost-of-living will be individual considerations to you.
