Physician Associate postgrad dilemma

I need help to decide which physician associate course is better; University of Birmingham's PA (PgDip) or De Montfort Uni (MSc)?

-obvs I know UOB's way better, but in terms of the course that is going to lead me to the same career - is it better going to one over the other (considering course structure, teaching, placements, outcome etc)
-(UOB's PgDip doesn't allow me to take SFE however DMU's MSc does...)

i mean a pgdip is just a lower classification than msc and not funded. it dosent matter what uni u go to thheyre all regulated by the same body and then soon they be under the gmc so it wouldnt matter.

Hi there @ksingh22 , it's great to hear that you're interested in studying with us here at DMU and that you're passionate about the career prospects and programme structure of Physician Associate Studies!

My advice would be, whilst things such as career prospects, teaching, placement options and opportunities, as well as things such as a careers team (ours is award winning and we're pretty chuffed with that:colondollar:), student services and support available are all important, I've found that it's also a gut-feeling of where you feel comfortable and ultimately at home!:smartass:

Sometimes the best indicator of if a University campus, atmosphere, and community is the right fit for you is found out by attending an Open Day -if you haven't already:blush: Our next Open Day is the 7th of October, but if that is too late then we do operate Campus Tours throughout each week that the University is open - so you can look around at what we offer. Here are a few links too that may be of use!
This is us! - https://www.dmu.ac.uk/home.aspx
Campus Tours - https://www.dmu.ac.uk/campus/campus.aspx
ALSO we are part of The Ambassador Platform and you can chat to current students of DMU here: https://www.dmu.ac.uk/study/chat-with-a-student/index.aspx

I hope this helps, but whichever you choose, I'm sure you will succeed!:elefant:
All the best,

- Rose:rose:, De Montfort University Rep.
