The Student Room Group

are a levels a waste of time if…

so im self studying psychology , sociology and religious studies and originally wanted to be a nurse/ social worker and still do but i also like the idea of cabin crew.
i pay for a loan each month for an online college which works out to £2,000 ish for online tutoring and predicted grades
also £600 for exams ill pay for soon and is it a waste if i end up not going to university? ofc i dont know what i wanna so yet but still.
Having A-levels is just generally useful for jobs.

so it’s not a waste?
Early in your career, job offers are related to your qualifications so the higher your qualifications the “better” job and more pay (generally)

So, not a waste to have a levels and the amount extra you will earn over a lifetime should dwarf the amount you are spending (IMHO)
