The Student Room Group

Can anyone help please I do not really understand what to do

Does music sound better at night?
As it gets darker (and seeing becomes more difficult) does our sense of hearing become more sensitive? 10 participants sat in a room illuminated by natural daylight and were played an extract of classical music. One hour later these same participants sat in a dark room and played another (different) piece of classical music. For each piece of music, the participants had to rate on a scale of 1 (not at all) and 10 (exceptionally clear) how clear they thought the music was.

Part 2:
Many couples imitate each other's behaviour without even realising it - psychologists call this postural echoing. Psychologists were interested to see how much postural echoing happened. To investigate this, they went to a bar in Lincoln on a Wednesday evening for 1 hour. They ordered drinks and sat at a table together so they could discuss the findings. They watched couples from the time they entered the bar until they left, 1 couple at a time. Altogether they managed to watch two couples in the allotted time. They recorded every time the couples did one of the following behaviours at the same time as each other;
Folding arms
Crossing legs
Resting head on hand
Taking a drink
Touching hair
Touching nose

Part 3:
Are tall people more confident?
The height of 100 university students was measured in centimetres and as they were having their height measured the students were asked to rate their confidence on a scale of 1 to 100 (1 not at all confident - 100 incredibly confident). The findings were analysed to see if there was a relationship between the two vanables.
