Degrees are classified with the highest being First Class Honours. After that comes Second Class Honours, First Division abbreviated as 2:1. The next is Second Class Honours, Second Division or 2:2. Then there is Third Class Honours followed by Pass.
Your overall marks will determine your classification. Not sure if every Uni is the same but when I was at Uni it was 70%+ for a First, 65+ for a 2:1, 60+ for a 2:2, 55+ For a Third and 40+ for a Pass degree.
