Is Getting Bad AS Levels The End For Medicine ?

I got BCD. I'm not proud of it and I know that I will get better A2 results and I will work for it. I just wanted to know :
If I can skip this upcoming application cycle (ie not apply with my AS grades) and instead apply with my final A2 grades after the end of year 13 (ie take a gap year) ? Thank you

your AS grades will likely not matter; it's your UCAS predicted grades that matter, so if there's any way of increasing your predictions you can apply this cycle, otherwise you can still apply to med schools that don't look at predictions e.g. nottingham, but to have a wide range of med schools then gap year would be the best option
