Braces are on NHS (if you’re entitled to that stuff) if you have a potentially harmful problem, but if it’s purely cosmetic no.

Something to note, if however your reason is that your crooked teeth are affecting your body image and therefore mental health, it isn't a cosmetic reason anymore but rather a mental health reason and will be considered... Which is just interesting to note... Very interesting...

What do you mean? I got braces because the misalignment of my teeth could have lead to facial deformities causing eating and oral problems. Why does the problem have to be cosmetic? Or do you mean something else?
