Covid-19 affecting statistics of the EPQ project

I am currently writing an EPQ project, in which I need a statistic about road accidents. Although, covid may have made the statistic biased, what do I do?

there would be less cars driving on the road during Covid due to things such as lockdown and after covid became less of an issue - there would have been a sudden surge of cars on the road as people would try to go on holidays or trips, etc
