Just wanted to ask if anyone had visited thorpe recently with a student ticket. Did they check id?

Can’t say recently as the last time I went personally was about 4 years ago but whenever I did go to Thorpe Park, they never checked your ticket as all the machines are automated (at least they were when I went).
The machine scanned my ticket and the turnstile allowed me through.
It might be different now though.
