GCSE resits

Hi, I recently failed both English and maths gcse and wanted to know if I should resit them. I did not get anywhere near a pass and I've beaten myself up about for the past few days. I would like to do A Levels but I'm unsure if I would be able to even get near A's as I flopped my GCSE'S. Any advice will help!

You would probably have to resit especially if you want to go to university as most universities require at least a 4 in English and Maths.
