What is it like Studying a Cyber-security degree? (or similar degree)
I am someone considering going into cyber-security but have not studied anything related to computer science since my GCSE's. If anyone has studied this course or similar courses can you tell me what it is like and what prospects I may have for the future if I take a this or a similar degree?
I have not studied cyber-security, but I am doing computer science as part of my degree. About a quarter of the computer science is programming, and the rest is looking at different aspects of the theory required to design computer systems.
According to the Lancaster University website, if you take cyber security you could work in cyber security, penetration testing, digital forensics, security operations, software development, or hardware development, or you could study again to achieve a MSc or PhD.
