Should I resit GCSE maths?

Hey guys, I currently want to study computer science with foundation year but I am very limited from going to top universities because I only a achieved a 5 in GCSE and most top unis want at least a 6.

Should I re sit GCSE higher (I did foundation in year 11) this year or next year during my gap year?? I know I could get a 6 at least if I put my mind to it. Is it worth all the hassle just for having the chance to apply to better unis?

It is not about going to ‘better unis’. Different universities will have
1. different courses for computer science
2. If they have the same computer science course, than different modules

It is about looking at the modules and see if you will enjoy it
For example, look at https://www.kcl.ac.uk/study-at-kings/ug/subjects/computer-science
If you can resit in during the gap year - after your A level studies

yes resit your maths.
