letters of recommendation

when applying to a UK university, how many letters of recommendation are needed. Also, for a computer science undergraduate degree which teachers's recommendation letter is better? maths or computer science

the Ucas page says 1 but should i still get both letters to be on the safe side?

For undergrad you’ll only be able to nominate one referee. You don’t provide the reference document yourself.

You can pick whoever is most likely to be able to address the required points. Alternatively, your school/college may have a standard person who provides references.
