Laptop recs for uni? (asking for a friend)

Looking for a laptop for a law student, preferably with a stylus, can also work as a tablet (but not chromebook or Mac because the uni uses Microsoft -- can you use microsoft on a Mac?)

I think the Lenovo Yoga 7 would be good for your friend. You can use a stylus with it and it’s a mid range machine that can handle powerful apps but can be used various ways and is lightweight.
