I struggled quite a bit with it. I'm not sure if exam boards are the same but I had to do pure maths, mechanics and statistics as part of the course. I found second year to be a lot harder than first.
My advice is to stay on top of it and do lots of past paper questions, if you find that you're struggling, ask for help, don't struggle in vain
