Should I stop doing my level 3 BTEC in IT?

I wanted to do computer science in uni but I have strong doubts about getting accepted.

- I have a 4 in maths from last year, I struggled with my mental health to the point I couldn't go to school or study it. Compsci course requires a strong mathematical background, so it wouldn't be good for my only maths grade to be so low.

-It's "IT" I told the school that I wanted to do Computer science and this was the course they recommended. But "IT" is different to "Computer science", to the point that I have doubts about it being accepted.
