I bf has been with sainsburys 12 yrs and February 12th last year I was diagnosed with terminal cancer so his had time off to take me to chemo and other appointments can sainsburys sack him for this he didn't take any compassionate leave just unpaid
Sorry to hear of your situation, that's tough.
It is complicated because you aren't married and so might not automatically class as a 'dependent' (unless you live together..?).
