Can I get into anywhere as a 17 year old going to Cardiff University? I wouldn’t even want to drink.

Congrats on getting into Cardiff University, that is a massive achievement!

There are loads of non-alcoholic freshers socials for people who don't drink. As a student who also doesn't drink, there was still loads for me to do. A good start is probably going to Freshers Fair and seeing which societies interest you.

There are loads of Give it a Go events as well, led by either the Student Union itself or student-led societies. Its a good opportunity to try new things and meet new people while you're at it. Here's some examples of them, in case you were interested!
