Epq help!

I'm trying to do a EPQ and I found genetics and genetic engineering to be quite Interesting. As someone applying to become a doctor would this topic be okay or would it lean more to biochemistry?

I think that would definitely work, it shows your interest in the subject beyond just the typical medicine things and it’s definitely better to do the EPQ about something you’re really interested in rather than just something you think will look good on an application.
