Hey! So, I really would like to get into engineering through a degree apprenticeship, and I am looking at the product design and development programmes - however, I just wanted to make sure that it’s what I’m looking for.
Ideally, it would lead to a role that is well suited to working on a project from start to finish - taking something from a concept, to working prototypes, to a finished item. Something that lets me be very intimate, hands-on, and personal with whatever project that I am working on at the time.
Coming up with ideas, making them come to life, testing them, and iterating until we arrive at the final product. Lots of experimental and ‘R&D’ focused stuff.
So, does that sound about right? Will this course turn me into Ironman like i’ve always dreamed of being?
