Hey, :hello:

It is perfectly normal to feel anxious when starting your final placement. However, you need to remember all the skills and knowledge that you have learnt so far and how much of a difference you can make.

Here are some examples of core skills and knowledge that a mental health student should be developing in their 3rd year:
- Confidence
- Ability to connect the dots
- Critical thinking
- Relation-based care
- Leadership
- Consider alternative points of view

Here are some tips to being proactive in your final year of studying and on placement:
- Establish a routine
- Ask for feedback (very important!)
- Eliminating distractions
- Reflect on your actions
- Be open to different ideas
- Think of your end goal of being a qualified mental health nurse.

I hope this helps and good luck in your final year :smartass:
