Finance for international postgraduate. Help!!

Hi
My nephew has just passed his LLB equivalent in mauritius. He has been offered a postgraduate place at Birmingham. He is a Mauritian national.
We are wondering what, if any, options are available for student finance loans.
I'm aware there is no government student loan but would love to hear if anyone has any suggestions.
