Organisers of the very first Lake Garda race reports that all but 500 of the 15,000 places has now sold out, just a month after they was first released to the public. For anyone itching to be the very first winner, there are only days left to get your entry in.

Prices range from $55 to $75, with riders attempting either of two challenges: agruelling, 168-kilometre event that covers the most difficult terrain, or a slightly less testing, but no less enjoyable, 84-kilometre contest that winds its way along the scenic shores of Lake Garda on April 12th/13th. Starting near the port, both events will conclude in the picturesque lake side town of Brenzone where the official awards ceremonies will occur.
