After much deliberation and initially intending to study pure Philosophy, I decided to consider applying for a Philosophy and Statistics MA at St. Andrews. However, I feel that I lack experience at Statistics besides the in-school work I did for my Math IA and my experience as a Math AI HL student (considering the course's emphasis on practical applications including statistics). I do genuinely enjoy the course and the statistics within it, but I feel like I lack content for the "Statistics" section of my personal statement. Are there any statistics-related experiences I can build for my personal statement before my application deadline on January 31? Thank you!
