Work placements on Computer Science courses

Which universities offer the best range of work placements during their computer science courses? I heard that Bath was the best in Britain when it comes to job placements on computer science courses? Is that really true or just a story being pushed by those promoting Bath?

Universities do not offer work placements, students have to find their own work placements. What the good universities do well of which Bath is one of them is, they provide good support towards finding a placement. Careers dept, work placement advice, inviting employers to come and give talks on campus, interview practice, assessment practice and will advertise some opportunities on the departmental noticeboard for their students and also guide students to where opportunities are advertised. Bath has a very good reputation with industry and so there may be a preference for Bath students but also Imperial, Warwick Oxbridge etc etc BUT they still have to go through the normal recruitment process.
