Sending mail to UCL

I'm trying to send a gift to a friend who attends UCL but I dont want to ask for their address otherwise it kind of ruins the surprise. I saw that UCL does have a mail service and I know the department that my friend is in, so does anyone know if I just include their name and department that they will be able to direct it for them to receive it? (Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure which student hall they're staying in either)

Probably not - I think that is really more for e.g. academics and staff members. If they had a random package addressed to a student arriving at the department office they might be more inclined to call security or something honestly...especially when they ask the student "did you have a package delivered here" and they say "no I have no idea what that is"!
