Uni vs Apprenticeship

So I'm almost finished with my first term of university and was wondering if I should drop out for a degree apprenticeship instead.
IMO I feel as though the degree apprenticeship will be better as i'm getting the experience plus the degree.
But the thing is the degree that I am currently doing is quite enjoyable.
I know I want to do something in the corporate world such as finance or consulting which is what the apprenticeship offers.

Would I be able to go into a completely different career later down the line?
For someone who has done a degree apprenticeship, give me your experience in terms of making friends, uni life, workload, career paths etc.
