What to do during christmas? Advise please
I have booked work off from 21st December until 2nd January.
I am looking for some advices to do in the UK with my partner because I get bored quite easily staying indoors/home for long periods.
We are based in Cardiff and we do not have many friends in here. And we have discovered pretty much everything in here so it would be even more boring to stay here over the festive period.
We are thinking of visiting a particular city, where we can stay for 2-3 days, see and do different things (could be a museum, landscape, sightseeing and even skiing etc). I know that many places close down for Christmas so it would be good to advise cities/places where we will not be let down and have some activities to do.
PS - we are not interested in London as it is super expensive and we had already been there many times before. We are also restricted by my partner's visa things so we cannot leave outside the UK as well.
