Rejected for 'not meeting the academic requirements' even though I do?

I'm an open uni student who's applying to start at year 1 in brick unis. I emailed Glasgow back in September asking if they accepted open university credits, and I was told, and I quote: "For BSc Physics we would usually ask for 120 OU credits with all 120 being in science modules - therefore it sounds like you should be ok for a year 1 offer as long as you pass all of these."
Yet today, not even 48 hours after sending off my application, Glasgow have rejected me because I "Don't meet the academic requirements for the programme."
What??? I average 85-97% in my modules, and they themselves told me they accepted OU credits. So what is going on here? I have GCSEs, all 9-7. I'm really confused and quite upset I was immediately rejected like that.

Turns out they rejected me by mistake! I checked ucas today to see the rejection taken away and a message saying my application with glasgow had been changed. Then they emailed saying they overturned the rejection and were now considering me again. I had no idea rejections could be reversed, never heard of it happening before nor have any of my friends. Super relieved though

Glad to hear it.
Did Glasgow say sorry for the mistake?

Who did you contact that for that mistake? Apparently I was just recently rejected by Glasgow and a bit bummed out as they did not give me a reason for rejection. Unlike Edinburgh rejecting me for not achieving the entry requirements, Glasgow did not put any.IMG_2022.jpeg

Do you meet the entry requirements?

Im not sure how they assessed my application as I have not taken my A Levels yet and i still dont have my AS Level results yet, so I only put my GCSE’s in UCAS. My referee had an issue with the UCAS website and was unable to put my predicted grades, rvc edin and southampton asked for my predicteds except glasgow, my predicteds were AAB.

Where did you sit AS exams? Are you applying in Wales or Northern Ireland?

What are the A Level entry requirements for the courses you've applied to?
I'll help you out:
RVC need AAA unless there's widening participation criteria.
Glasgow need AAA
Edinburgh need AAA
Soton I can't find info for.

If you don't have AAA as your predicted grades, it's going to be immediate rejection unless you meet widening participation criteria for any of the unis.

Your UCAS referee needed to input predicted grades and didn't, but your predicted grades are too low in the first place for the courses you have applied for.
