Experience for Cambridge PGCE?
I'm currently in my second year of Geography, and I want to do a
secondary PGCE straight after I finish undergrad (would start in September 2025). I'm thinking of applying to Cambridge, and I'm just wondering what kind of experience they value?
I am in the process of finding placements in secondary schools for this summer, in addition to working at a Oxford uni summer school for international students.
Do I need weeks and weeks of experience? Only a few days? Do they appreciate work in primary schools as well? Any help would be much appreiciated!
