Social work placement - negotiating my working days

Hi all, I'm a social work student in Birmingham. I'm going to start my final placement soon (late, I know, but this is my second go at it. I had to leave the first time due to personal circumstances). I want to know how I can negotiate a hybrid working pattern.

For context, the university took over six months to find me a new placement, so I started doing other things like getting a new job (only started very recently) and taking on caring duties (for my partner's grandparents), both in a different city that I'll be moving to permanently after graduating. I know some placement providers won't accommodate hybrid working (based on what I've heard from my cohort) so I want to play my cards right before negotiating for it.

How I should go about it? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
