Motorway speeding threshold

I know the legal speed limit is 70, but what speed will most coppers usually pull you over at?
From what I can see most people are going about 85-90 when there's no cameras

I've heard many a person say that up to 10% over is "safe" in terms of not being pulled over, so 77 mph. No idea if that's true and whether it works for speed traps and gantry speed cameras.

Where are you in such a hurry to get to that you would risk your license?
It’s illegal to drive 1mph over the limit

Most force enforce at speed limit + 10% + 2mph

Ie 79mph on the motorway, 35mph on local roads

But they can pull you over and enforce fir lower than that
It will just depend, I've been given a friendly warning at about 80 before.

It’s a genuine question not a lecture.
you’re responsible for your own decisions not anyone else’s.

You will be lucky these days to see any traffic patrol cops on the motorway
