How to improve my general knowledge so I can contribute to conversations
I'm usually able to contribute to conversations with friends pretty well. However when we have intellectual conversations discussing topics like politics, history, religion or geography, I'm rarely able to contribute as I don't have much knowledge around these subjects. To be honest I'm a little clueless about my own religion which is embarrassing at times. How would you suggest I go about improving my general knowledge so I can contribute to these sorts of conversations?
