I find that when I’m on React unlike ST2, a person’s online status when hovering over their username is frequently incorrectly displayed.
I’ll hover over someone’s username and it’ll say online, but when you actually go to the person’s profile they are in fact offline.
This doesn’t always happen but it happens frequently enough (at least 60% of the time).

Yeah here for example, my online status is being displayed as online when it’s supposed to be displayed as offline/invisible:
I’ve been noticing this issue for weeks btw but I didn’t bother to report it sooner.
Also sometimes sometimes someone’s status is displayed online but they are offline.
I’m wondering if this sort of thing breaches privacy to be honest.

Thanks for all the detail. I can see the issue with my account being online now but showing as offline when I view the site as another user. I'll log a bug in our backlog.
Has this issue finally been fixed it seems or not?

Hi. We haven't done anything to actively fix it yet. I can still see the issue with my account so I think we will still need to look at it.

Thanks because I’ve seen that invisible status seems to be working again for me at least when I view profiles with such status which is good (but I’m not sure whether that’s intentional or not).
I can also confirm that invisible online status seems to work on react (I can’t see the current online status with those who have set their online status to invisible so that’s good).
But there still seems to be delay with showing online status in general. It’ll still be shown that someone is online from the react system only to be told that their last activity was 20 minutes ago and they are currently offline from a ST1 or ST2 perspective.

Sorry we haven't got around to looking at this yet but I'm glad invisible mode is working. I don't have a timeframe for when we will try to fix this one.
