Feel like I'm wasting my time with my degree, unsure of what to do

I'm a first year marketing student, and if I'm being honest, my degree feels like a total waste of time. I'm aware it's still (somewhat) early into the course, but at this point, we're 5 months in and I really don't feel like I've learned much. Most of the content is mere common sense or basic themes that are incredibly easy to understand that are stretched out over 4+ weeks just so they have something to teach us. I honestly don't know what to do.
