Should I pick criminology / criminal justice or theatre and performance ?
these are two things I always wanted to do and I got two offers of these to do at uni however I have no idea what to do . could you tell me what you learn and in criminology is there any practical .

Check the prospectus pages for the courses you've applied for -- do they provide a breakdown of the modules (compulsory and optional) you'll be studying? (This may be a link to other parts of the university's website rather than being an integral part of the prospectus page(s).)
