HI Yaah! UCL HPE or KCL HPE?

Greetings, everyone! I hail from China and am thrilled to share that I've received conditional offers for several degrees.

Pros for UCL HPE:
1. Prestige!!!
2. More Eastern-European focused content
3. Film classes

Cons:
1. No exahcnge opportunities to foreign schools
2. Too focused on east-european
BTW, can anyone help me to address the level of this course? Hard? Need a lot of time to work?

KCL HPE
Pros:
1. Have a BSc pathway for stat
2. Foreign Exchange opportunities
3. Teachers are mostly from Oxbridge or LSE..

Cons:
1. Less activities and societies?
2. A bit lower on prestige and entry requirements for students(bc I am AP learner for the US system)

Additionally, I'm contemplating the possibility of transferring to UCL's Arts and Sciences BASc program should I choose to attend UCL, with the hope of making an internal transfer, though I'm aware it might be challenging. I'm also considering whether UCL might facilitate a smoother transition to universities in the US later on.

I would be immensely grateful for any advice or insights you could offer regarding these considerations. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support!😄

i am in ucl hpe. I think it's a great opportunity to study here, buttt first year class is a bit monotonous, especially for history. Second year will be much better. It's all depend on your preference of courses in ucl or kcl, since kcl taught history in a more comprehensive lens but has little room for electives from other dept.

In ucl, we can choose media, accounting, computer science, law, maths....for two years of three, so i guess it's a good choice if you would like to dig in other fields. But all history here is for eastern european, like Soviet Union, Habsburg, Poland,Latvia...depends on whether you accept this.

For economics, both are quite similar, but i have friends at kcl hpe and their economics modules are easier to grasp and clearer to understand. And kcl focus more on political economy, but ucl hpe separate econ as a individual subject.
