academic intergrity appeal

if i complain about an unjustified academic penalty (reducing my grade to 40) after being accused of using AI in an essay exam, if i show evidence that it was my own work such as my draft, browser history and lecture notes, how likely is it they will drop the penalty and return my grade to the original grade?
Daft question - why didn't you present that evidence in the first instance?

i didnt present the evidence in the first instance as i was given no opportunity...
i recieved my exam grade back about a week before, and then with no prior warning i then recieved an email that this grade was being changed and reduced to 40 as they belived i used AI, hence i am trying to appeal this decision
You should appeal and present your evidence.
