What is the likelihood of getting an appeal for adavanced higher art? I was predicted an A but ended up with a B for several reasons.

I was ill for the month preceeding the submission deadline and as a consequence could not get into school to finish my practical project - the doctor is willing to provide me with a certificate. Also, I made a mistake with the word count on my written submission - it would have appeared to be the wrong length when in fact it is not. In these circumstances is it likely that examiners will reconsider my grade?

This is the sort of thing you really need to be talking to your school about asap. We really can't say as it depends on lots of things, like how good your A in the prelim was. My advice would be to just get the school to set it in motion, and not to assume you will get as you may be disappointed if you don't. Fingers crossed though!
