I think you do have a right to say something to him - especially if this is really affecting you. I think you need to call a meeting instead of just approaching him and talking to him that way.

I wish it was that simple but we talk about it and some arent bothered because they never really hear it as often as others. I don't think its normal to scream and throw things as often as he has...its like a cry for help except he hasen't actually asked for it
Happy St. Patrick's Day to everybody in this group

been reading through my aspergers reports.........so pissed off at the **** my parents had been saying about me which were clearly not true/misinterpreted.
i think the problem with being given a diagnosis is people tend to listen to you less, has anyone else felt they haven't been able to speak for themselves?

I know how you feel. :sadnod:

My hospital had to hand my report into my new sixth form, so they must have had this terrible first impression of me. I hope i've proved some of the report's contents wrong - the parental side of things, that is.
So how was everyone's st. patrick's? I had first ever guinness - wasn't the greatest fan of it tbh :P How's everyone spending mother's day? I gave my Mum her card and present when I saw her a couple of weeks ago, so today I will just call at some point

Hi guys. I can't go into great detail on the situation, but I just wanted to make a quick post here of reassurance. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with mention or discussion of Asperger's on TSR. Any suggestions that this may be the case are due to the misinterpretation of a moderation response to certain posts that were rule-breaking for other reasons; the posts in question mentioned Asperger's, but this wasn't the reason for us needing to take action over them. There's absolutely no reason for any of you to worry here.

I had the same message.

Illusionary, the Supe is right, there are a whole range reasons. I thought it was a Moderation issue at first, the Mod of the Careers.

Thank you Illusionary for the reassurance. If there was TSR against AS then I would have caused a great big stink, kicking up a fuss.

I rarely mention my Aspergers in my posts.

If it is possible, can someone (Mod, Super Mod or Admin) have a word with the user in question.

I know how you're feeling OP. I tried to get up at 8.30 to do work before my lecture at 1, but all I did was have breakfast, went back to bed and woke up at 11.55 when I REALLY HAD TO BE UP. However, Im awake as anything now. Caffeine, loud music, and a 3 hour lecture on Doctor Who (including a 40 minute episode) is how to solve that problem!
im doing well  feeling bad that i've been stuck inside all day when its been fairly nice though. although i suspect its been one of those chilly days so why not sunbathe in bed :P nervous for tomorrow, hopefullly will be offered some kind of accomadation.

Same here. Not feeling too well either.:frown:
Hello, fellow humanoids

I'm kind of new here; just saw this thread and thought I should maybe have a little peep.
I haven't officially been diagnosed with AS, but quite a few people have suggested that I show mild symptoms, though I'm not sure what to infer from "mild symptoms".
Yes, I've disliked social situations deeply; every time I have to meet someone new or go into a new situation, it kind of makes me nervous because I know I'm not good at socialising with people or making new friends etc. I cannot even make eye contact! I have to consciously do it by forcing myself. These are just a few things, plenty more, but I thought it was just me, lol

TLDR, should I consider speaking to my GP? My family doesn't consider me as anything different; but then I don't spend a lot of time around them - spend most of my time in my room/away from a lot of other people except my boyfriend a few "online" friends.
