Fun fact, Jeff Buckley was a key inspiration for Matt Bellamy becoming the lead singer for Muse

Mojo Pin - very strong start

Grace - ****ing hell what a voice

Last Goodbye - good

Lilac Wine - I liked that

So Real - thought it was getting a bit tame, then bam

Hallelujah - believe it or not this is my first time ever hearing this cover. The impact is quite different to Leonard Cohen's but it lives up to the hype

Lover You Should've Come Over - kinda zoned out on this one

Corpus Christi Carol - eh

Eternal Life - yep

Dream Brother - sounds like Radiohead :eyeball:

uhh yeah loved it. 9/10.

Hallelujah - Not a version I've heard before, but a good cover. :yy:

You had never heard his version of Hallelujah before?!

I don't recall having heard anything by him before. :nah: The only version of that song I knew prior to this thread was John Cale's, which appeared in Shrek. Then when Leonard Cohen's album came up here, I learned from Wikipedia that it was originally his song.

Jeff Buckley - Grace

A bit of a mixed bag. Some I really liked but I wasn't a fan of some others. 7/10

Midnight - Set it Off
Joyride - Roxette

Wait, were those always in the OP list? They haven't been in the 'updated' versions I've been reposting. :iiam: Seems I messed up somewhere. :colondollar:

Let's go with one of those then!

Coloring Book:

All We Got - ...I actually liked this! :zomg: :yy:

No Problem - But then, the n-words start. :sigh: Chorus was catchy, mind.

Summer Friends - Liked the instrumentals, and the overall sound, but the lyrics are just too explicit for my tastes.

D.R.A.M. Sings Special - Pleasant. :yy: So naturally, it's the shortest on the album. :grumble:

Blessings (1) - REALLY nice. :yy:

Same Drugs - Meh.

Mixtape - NOPE.

Angels - Still nope.

Juke Jam - Not quite.

All Night - This was fun. :yy:

How Great - Well, at least it wasn't explicit.

Smoke Break - Bit repetitive.

Finish Line / Drown - Definitely felt like two different tracks, Finish Line and Drown. Preferred the latter.

Blessings (2) - Yep, like this one. :yy:

5/10. Not my style of music, but I can understand the appeal.
Chance the Rapper - Coloring Book

All We Got - The only one I've listened to before - liked it

No Problem - Could've been good. Garbage lyrics

Summer Friends - not good

D.R.A.M. Sings Special - not bad

Blessings - average

Same Drugs - pretty good

Mixtape - awful (what were you expecting from a song called 'mixtape' though?)

Angels - not sure

Juke Jam - Awful

All Night - pretty good

How Great - eh

Smoke Break - garbage

Finish Line / Drown - Finish line is really good, Drown was also pretty good

Blessings vol 2 - Not really a fan of this one

Very mixed. Some really good tracks but also some pretty terrible ones. 6/10

Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue

Not much to say about each individual track - I really like this album though, some of my favourite songs. 9/10
Ocean Avenue:

Way Away - A decent start. :yy:

Breathing - I know this one, from the game FlatOut 2! :zomg: Good song, and nostalgic. :yy:

Ocean Avenue - Good stuff. :yy:

Empty Apartment - This was alright.

Life of a Salesman - Nice song, nice message. :yy:

Only One - Am quite liking the violin solos. :yy:

Miles Apart - Okay.

Twentythree - Also okay.

View from Heaven - Just as it was starting to get samey, something a little different. :yy:

Inside Out - Passable.

Believe - Awesome. :yy:

One Year, Six Months - Noice. :yy:

Back Home - Alright, bit samey again.

8/10. Nice sound, and Breathing was a real nostalgia hit.
Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue

It sounds alright but very same-y, I feel like I've heard this singer 5 times before on this thread and I can barely pick apart individual tracks.

I remember View From Heaven, Only One and Believe because of the violin which you don't really hear in rock ever so that's nice.

Kinda disappointed. 5/10
Roxette - Joyride

Joyride - Sounds like a real ghost of the 80s. I approve! :yy:

Hotblooded - Great. :yy:

Fading Like a Flower (Every Time You Leave) - EPIC. :yy:

Knockin' on Every Door - Decent.

Spending My Time - Love it. :yy:

I Remember You - Not bad.

Watercolours in the Rain - Beautiful. :yy:

The Big L. - This is the most 80s non-80s song I've ever heard, and that goes double for the music video. :yy:

Soul Deep - Okay.

(Do You Get) Excited? - Yes. :yy:

Church of Your Heart - Passable.

Small Talk - First song on the album that I haven't liked, though it's not awful.

Physical Fascination - Fascinating. :yy:

Things Will Never Be the Same - Brilliant. :yy:

Perfect Day - Nice ending.

9/10. RIP Marie Fredriksson :rip:

One for the weekend:

Album 66

Santana - Supernatural

Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/5YsF3JhLsMZDUXPlqnEw81
Replacing that from me in the backlog will be System of a Down - Mezmerize.
Supernatural:

(Da Le) Yaleo - That's how you do an intro! :yy:

Love of My Life - Nice. :yy:

Put Your Lights On - My favourite on the album. :yy: Everlast's vocals are amazing.

Africa Bamba - Of course, Santana's a pretty good singer himself. :yy:

Smooth - The album's big hit, popular with good reason. :yy:

Do You Like the Way - The intro rap's never really been my cup of tea. Rest of the music and CeeLo's vocals are great, though.

Maria Maria - Catchy. :yy:

Migra - NICE. :yy:

Corazón Espinado - Decent.

Wishing It Was - Relaxing, nice lyrics. :yy:

El Farol - Pleasant instrumental.

Primavera - Also good, though a bit long for me.

The Calling - Longer still, but this one I really like. :yy:

Day of Celebration (hidden track) - I can't remember if I knew about this, back when I played it on CD. Not bad at all.

9/10 again.
Listened to Joyride. Liked it a lot, didn't pay attention to individual tracks (was playing runescape as I listened). 8/10
