Youtube didn't have a version that matched the original track listing either, I had to resort to searching down each track manually in the end. As much as I enjoyed what I heard, 37 songs on the re-issue is a bit much for one sitting!
John Martyn - Solid Air

Solid Air - My favourite John Martyn song that wasn't on One World (of those I've heard, at least). :yy::yy:

Over the Hill - Straight-forward, upbeat, pleasant. :yy:

Don’t Want to Know - YES. :yy:

I’d Rather Be The Devil - Quite the change in tune from the last song! Love the long instrumental. :yy:

Go Down Easy - Grew on me. :yy:

Dreams By the Sea - Has its moments.

May You Never - Lovely. :yy:

The Man in the Station - Magical. :yy:

The Easy Blues - I still don't know what to make of this, no matter how many times I hear it.

8/10 again.
Adding Cat Stevens - Teaser and the Firecat to the list. :emog:
John Martyn - Solid Air

7/10. Not really much to say about this, it was good I guess :dontknow:
I think a few of my recommendations have gone by, so I'll recommend Bill Withers - Just As I Am.
John Martyn - Solid Air

Yeah pretty nice. Whilst the sound seemed a bit more varied than One World it didn't have such good tunes. Solid Air and The Man In The Station were my favourites still. 7/10
Album #105

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - High Visceral {Part 1}

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - High Visceral {Part 1}

Cornflake - Not a bad intro. :yy:

Cubensis Lenses - Interesting sound, but not quite to my tastes.

Marmalade March - Music video on Youtube was fun; song was just okay. Certainly 'psychedelic'.

...and the Addled Abstraction of Being - Alright. A bit long.

High Visceral - Very nice instrumental. :yy:

Surf's Up - Also good. :yy:

Gallop to Southport - Odd.

Found God in a Tomato - Nah.

Entropy - Noise.

Denmark / Van Gogh & Gone - Clearly just isn't for me.

3/10, I'm afraid. :colondollar:

Not as bad as Unknown Mortal Orchestra's :awesome:
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets - High Visceral

Tough one, I'll go with 6/10. Some tracks I really liked, some that were just a collection of sounds.
Thoughts on a poll theme for #110? We could go back to decades, or select by genre instead?
The 1975

Crazily, these guys met at my high school

The City - Vaguely recall this, it's pretty good.

M.O.N.E.Y. - Not sure about this one

Chocolate - Okay

S*x - Not bad

Talk! - nope

Heart Out - Pretty good :yy:

Settle Down - Nice

Robbers - eh

Girls - Not bad

She Way Out - alright

Menswear - no

Uh, 6/10? had its moments, otherwise mediocre
The 1975 : The 1975

The 1975 - I guess they open each of their albums with this track? I didn't like it this time either, but it's a cool idea.

The City - Unremarkable.

M.O.N.E.Y. - Nope, nope, nope.

Chocolate - And all of a sudden, a song that I like! :zomg: :yy:

Sex - Background music.

Talk! - Better. :yy:

An Encounter - Short instrumental, alright, inoffensive.

Heart Out - Also good. :yy:

Settle Down - Also also good. :yy:

Robbers - Not quite.

Girls - Meh.

12 - Same as the previous instrumental. Ambient, not unpleasant.

She Way Out - Nice. :yy:

Menswear - First half was just noise; second half was catchy, but there was still a bit too much going on for my tastes.

Pressure - Passable.

Is There Somebody Who Can Watch You - Different. Emotional. But too slow.

5/10, one more than they got from me last time.
Quite liked High Visceral pt. 1. Favourite songs were Cornflake and Found God In A Tomato. And maybe the last one too, don't remember the name.

Hmm... 6.5/10. I think that's the same as I gave for A Saucerful of Secrets and it's about the same for enjoyability.
The 19752, otherwise known as The 3,900,625. One day late but whatever, I can do the BH&R review without even listening to it.

The 1975 - this seems familiar...

The City - eh

M.O.N.E.Y. - eh

Chocolate - eh

Sex - nice enough. Is this Mr Brightside from "his" perspective?

Talk! - at this point I stopped concentrating for a bit

----

Heart Out - alright

Settle Down - ok

Robbers - ok

Girls - I like the guitar

She Way Out - ok

Menswear - alright

Pressure - mm I prefer Muse's 'Pressure'

Is There Somebody Who Can Watch You -

that felt really long. I'd say it was quite consistent, nothing particularly good or particularly bad, but too many being too similar. I just don't find it interesting.
so 4/10
Okay onto the album whose title inspired my first blog :ahee:
I don't think I'll give a score (since I've listened to this to death for 3 years), just give my thoughts.

Take A Bow - has grown on me since I first started listening to Muse

Starlight - check out those arpeggios though. To honest, it's a bit cheesy. Still has 118 plays on Google Play though.

Supermassive Black Hole - if you take the music video of Childish Gambino's This Is America but play this song on top, it syncs up perfectly. Not a word of lie.

Map of the Problematique - yes

Soldier's Poem - nice but it's also skippable

Invincible - It has grown 'off' me a little. I do like the breakdown and solo a lot though.

Assassin - yes. The Grand Omega Bosses version is truly excellent though.

Exo-Politics - lyrically the most ridiculous song on the album. I think it's safe to say 2006 was Matt Bellamy's peak conspiracy-theory phase.

City of Delusion - yes. Also that high A tho

Hoodoo - definitely one of the most overlooked Muse songs, but has some of their best lyrics and the instrumental is on point too.

Knights of Cydonia - Also one of the most bonkers songs they ever did, but it really did shape their style.

Glorious - can they play this live more often pls
