The Clash - London Calling:

London Calling - Great opener.

Brand New Cadillac - Hadn't heard it before and it was well worth the wait.

Jimmy Jazz - Nice but the vocal style didn't really work with the song.

Hateful - Good enough.

Rudie Can't fail - Alright.

Spanish Bombs - Nice.

The Right Profile - Lovely, particularly the opening.

Lost In The Supermarket - Good with slightly a slightly bizarre premise.

Clampdown - Liked this one too.

The Guns Of Brixton - Alright.

Wrong 'Em Boyo - This was another nice one.

Death Or Glory - I particularly liked this one.

Koka Kola - This one was really rather nice.

The Card Cheat - Great.

Lover's Rock - Still going well.

Four Horsemen - Very nice.

I'm Not Down - I'm still waiting for a bad song so that I can complain.

Revolution Rock - Not quite my thing and it drags on a little.

Train In Vain (Stand By Me) - Slightly weak end.

9.5/10 Very good overall.

Spoiler

The Clash- London Calling

London Calling- I was hyped for this but I guess I was too hyped lol

Brand New Cadillac- Not bad

Jimmy Jazz- A lot more calm I like this 😁

Hateful- I can't lie I didn't think the clash would sound like this lol this guy's voice is very raspy thought that the singer would sound like Johnny Rotten (Lydon)

Rudie Can't fail- Happy I guess. A dash of UB40 with the Beatles

Spanish bombs- Great! Really enjoyed it! Reminds me of the Pixies🌟

The right profile- Lovely!! Lol his voice is so smokey.

Lost in the supermarket- Singer's voice is a lot softer lol makes the song sound happier 😁

Clampdown- Great

The guns of Brixton- Very fun!

Wrong 'em boyo- 😁

Death of glory- 😁

Koka kola- 😁

The card cheat- Fab!

Lover's rock- lol 😁

Four Horsemen- alright

I'm not down- 😁

Revolution rock- 😁 their UB40 is showing.

Train in vain (stand by me)- great!

10/10- I did not expect them to sound like this at all! Me thinking it was gonna be the sex pistols + the cure! Well I'm glad to see that they're not just sticking to 1 genre and I love that they're experimenting with their sound!! Honestly, I could listen to it again. Haha definelty shocked by their sound tho. Totally worth the vote.

Bleach

Blew - Quality~ :yy:

Floyd The Barber - Didn't do much for me.

About A Girl - Classic. :yy:

School - Simple but awesome. :yy:

Love Buzz - Not surprised to read it's a cover, doesn't quite feel 'right'.

Paper Cuts - That was DARK! :yy:

Negative Creep - YES. :yy:

Scoff - Best so far. :yy:

Swap Meat - :yy:

Mr Moustache - Bizarre lyrics, but not bad. :yy:

Sifting - Little too long and slow.

8/10 again for Nirvana.
Nirvana - Bleach

Some songs were a bit too grunge for me, but I could get into some others. I much prefer the acoustic version of About A Girl. 7/10
Oof 😭
Bleach
Didn't like it as much as I hoped I would - have to say it became a bit grating, which was a shame because I quite liked Nevermind when we reviewed it.
School, About A Girl, Paper Cuts and Love Buzz were pretty good. Yeah going to give this 6/10, sorry :colondollar:

It was absolutely fantastic! 😊
Taylor Swift - Red

State of Grace - Off to a decent start.

Red - :red: :yy:

Treacherous - Lovely. :yy:

I Knew You Were Trouble - Recognise the chorus, nice to hear the full song. Not as good as the previous two, though.

All Too Well - Great chorus. :yy:

22 - Meh. Maybe I'm too old and grumpy for this one. :shakecane:

I Almost Do - Good.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together - Iconic. :yy:

Stay Stay Stay - Quite the change in tune from the previous song! Very bright and upbeat. :yy:

The Last Time - Sweet duet.

Holy Ground - Alright.

Sad Beautiful Tragic - :suith: :yy:

The Lucky One - Solid. :yy:

Everything Has Changed - Cute.

Starlight - Okay.

Begin Again - Really nice ending. :yy:

8/10, loved it, but maybe a little too consistent in sound and subject matter, compared with other more varied albums we've had recently.

Will listen to Red tomorrow.

In the meantime, going to suggest Hunting High and Low by A-ha.
Taylor Swift - Red

State of grace- Nice!

Red- Great. Could listen again! I dunno I just really like the whole colour-me theme.

Treacherous- I'm a sucker for a good string guitar song. I love the subtle background vocals- just makes it more magical.

I knew you were trouble- Not a fan of the monologue. The rest of the song was alright tho!

All too well- meh not bad but not amazing.

22- Love this!! So nostalgic urgh great vibes honestly! This was very comforting. ☺️

I almost Do- Comforting I guess. Not really memorable though.

We are never ever getting back together- love this!! Classic breakup song! Amazing.

Stay stay stay- I actually loooove her voice in this! What a cute little song 😊 her country accent is adorable.

The last time- I remember loving this song as a kid! Still love it! Beautiful 🍃🌱

Holy ground- Not bad.

Sad Beautiful tragic- Waaay better!!

The lucky one- Chorus is pretty but I may need to read the lyrics again to understand what the heck this is about.

Everything has changed- Absolutely loved this song when I was little!! Urgggh nostalgia. It's amazing 🖤

Starlight- Cute. I like her voice in this 😄

Begin again- meh.

8/10 lol can't lie I was trying to avoid listening to this album cos I loooove her Evermore and Folklore album! It was okay some hits and some songs were okay but forgettable and then some just bored me.
