Chichester Primary Education Interview Sept 2011

I attended an interview today for Chichester (bognor Regis Campus)
and completely messed up the maths task making very silly mistakes that i told the tutor later in an interview so that they were aware of the fact that i knew i had made panicking mistakes.

So i definitely got a few wrong, but showed correct/accurate workings on the same or related questions...so i did show i could do it

has anyone received an offer yet for starting in 2011 at Chi and did you get any of the maths wrong? Also what subject specialism are you doing

My paired interview was quite intense because he kept firing questions at us quickly and usually asked the same question to us both over and over again..ie what makes a good teacher...so you both answer like 3 each so it gets really hard to come up with stuff. try and get your experience in somehow and prove that youve gained from it all. My interview wasnt good

Mystery object you pick from a bag...try work out what something feels like..i got a slinky which i thought was ok but some are pretty hard.

God luck

thanks  yeah im really scared about the paired interview! Ive applied for the Key stage 2/3 maths course, which one did you apply for?
Also is there a spelling test? and does it matter which subject you relate the object to?

Sorry if i'm asking too many questions, just very nervous!

You'll be fine just dont panic
Oh i applied for Keystage1/2 (5-11) with English but got rejected. There is no spelling test just a written task. Noo i doubt it but its probably worth trying to relate to your subject aswell as another subject

Its fine dont worry

Good Luck
